Meadows or Bugyals of Uttaranchal  
These  are pastures lands locally called 'Bugyal' are  found above 2800 Mt of  sea  level and used as summer grazing grounds by the locals and other migratory communities.  These   are   pieces   of  land slopes covered with green  soft  grass and  wild  flowers surrounded by snow clad peaks. A variety of flora and fauna including several medicinal herbs and Serbs   are  found on these dream lands besides Musk Deer and beautiful bird Monal which is also state bird of Uttaranchal state.
